Baby sock monkey

Z has lots of little socks that don't fit him anymore.  Some lost their partner, some have stains.  So I decided to make miniature sock monkeys out of them :) Here's the first little guy, and actually, the first sock monkey I've ever made.

Ye old dehydrator

Dehydrated bananas and strawberries....
  I made these for a wedding gift, along with some dried apples with cinnamon that I didn't get a picture of.  The bananas were soaked first in a mixture of sugar water and delicious local honey :) 
 ...and a recently made patchwork skirt.
Made with cotton fabrics,  and a few vintage fabrics.  The pattern is cut A-line on top, and then bells out at the bottom, making it super twirly :).  All seams were zig-zag stitched like this:

Elephant baby shirts

Some things I made for my new nephew :)
Both onesies were hand tie-dyed, and I made the elephant applique patch on the second shirt with fabric scraps.  The elephant on the first shirt was stamped in ink with one of my new Indian stamps :) 

The olive green brimmed hat was made using this pattern-
